I spent many weekend nights at Sunshine Speedway;
both roundy rounds and drag. It gave me a constructive place to go as a teenager and young adult. It is a much needed outlet
for people that want to enjoy a community based entertainment and it was always an affordable night out. I sold cokes, popcorn, and
peanuts at Sunshine Speedway as a Boy Scout to raise money for our troop. When I grew to an adult, I would take my niece and
nephew to races. Now I have two daughters who I would love to bring to a race. Please open the track! Racing breathes life
into the community. Racing teaches us the values of competition, it is a socialization mechanism, it creates jobs and brings
in revenue and tax dollars. Too many of these short tracks are being taken over for development. Let this remain a place for schoolbuses to go
to die. I think it is the best thing for Pinellas . You know i was thinking the other day it's just like they closed down Daytona
Speedway i just hope you can get it done i wanna get back to the track i belong to. Bring it back! Got my girlfriend (now my wife of 33 years) involved in racing
at Sunshine Speedway. Great wholesome entertainment! BRING BACK THE TRACK!!! Went as a teen. Went the last night as an adult (got the shirt). Would love to take my son. Bring
back Saturday Nite's. Most Fun i have ever had- have been at these races! BRING IT BACK ! I worked @ Sunshine for a while and hated seeing go. Bring it
back ya'll. Remember Wild Bill #10!!! I was sad to see it go. We are definitely missing out. Bringing it back is a MUST! the worst thing bonnie did was sell the place. Always loved going to the track. Yes, Sunshine was the best short track racing in Florida yes please bring the track back.one of the worse days in pinellas
history was when the track closed. I used to go there when I was little with my mom and dad I'm 58 now it sort of a historical site
I wish all my grandkids could have went there also Sure do miss those Sunshine Nights. I’ve got 2 cars ready
to go its been a long time when are yall gonna re open the sooner the better. I moved to St. Pete from Ct. in the early 70's and started
going to Sunshine not long after that and used to be there every Sat. nite and would love to have it back and be able to go
again on Sat. nites. Bring

We need a paved track in the area. Sunshine

I also grew up on racing there and also raced some myself. I use to go there as a kid with my dad all the time. Use to watch the go-cart races, demo derby,
circle track, ‘run what ya brung’, etc. BRING IT BACK! My son was a Figure 8 driver at Sunshine and now has to travel to Citrus/Auburndale & Punta Gorda to drive. Pinellas
County is missing out on its local talent. i've
gone with my father since I was 3 yrs old. Now I’m 16 and still go to the drag races every
Wednesday and Friday - and every heads up madness they host! I love racing and it’s
sad that their closing HISTORY! for an overpass! They already cut the track down from 1/4 to 1/8th mile
and now no more roundy rounds? It makes people like me cry inside! It’s sad, if
it were anywhere else it would still be open, Pinellas has no respect for their citizens!! They outlaw
gas scooters, and drag racing tracks... can’t even sit at parking lots for a car meet anymore! It’s
sick and wrong! Bring back the track Why
not? It's good entertainment for the family. I HAVE TWO SUPER LATE MODELS AND WOULD LOVE TO RACE THERE. I RACED MODIFIEDS THE

so let us do the responsible thing and drive our cars in a designated area the way we want to drive them i enjoyed spending time
at the race track and would like to see it open again. I just want to see it open again I really miss all the fun times I’ve had there growing

Was paying for the whole seat, but only using
the edge for 8 years. I have a son now and want to lead him in the right direction. Let's see the green fly again!!! Bring the back the track.
It's a Pinellas County icon. I miss the track!! Bring it back Bring it back now That
track is still there for a reason, freshly paved and needs some work. We can do it!!! Spent many weekends at the track, always had
a great time, family friendly and affordable I would like to see the track reopen. Bring the track back, and add some more around the bay it’d be amazing. Keeps kids busy with a hobby at the
track and not on drugs, or racing in the streets (as much) I had one of the best times ever @ sunshine - I hope you
guys can get the place going again. Please bring the track back!!

off the street. I went to the Sunshine Speedway since I was
13...that was the 60s. Now, what do the kids have to do? No wonder we have so many problems with our youth...there is nothing
for them to do anymore. At least racing was a place to go that a kid could have fun with just a few bucks in their pocket.
It's been a good family pass time for decades. It's time to bring back this FAMILY pastime! There isn’t anywhere
to go around here. This will give everyone a place to go hang out and its legal! Open

for 10 years till the day closed. I haven't been to another track since. I would like a local track to go back too! Would love to see it come back. My family has gone there in the 1980 ‘til it closed YES, We race with the TBARA wing sprints and Sunshine was a GREAT track for sprint cars.... BRING

I don't think the
fans of racing should be penalized because of a planning mistake. Let’s get it done! Many,
many enjoyable evenings had been spent at Sunshine Speedway over the years with the family. ----Now I would really enjoy a
local spot to race my Tag Go Kart. I remember as a little boy my Dad would take us out to Sunshine Speedway. We lived in St Petersburg.
That was the closest racetrack. In fact, that was the only track in Pinellas County! (I
just thought of that) In the mid 1970’s, I was in quite a few Demo Derbies when they had them every
Saturday. For those who like to race, or just watch, we need to have a place to go!!! We want the track!! You should try and get a Dwarf Car Class so I could race! Good luck! I used to go there a lot to see the races
as a kid. Now, I would like to take my so there to see the races and all the things that goes on there
like Figure 8 Bus. I think it would be great to have the track back – this is from a Pinellas County
man that has seen the county change a lot over the years! Please open this track back up ASAP! The opening night you guys will have to be
turning away cars and fans because you will have people come from all over:) BRING BACK THIS TRACK!!! Please bring back the track! We use to have so much
fun out there and what better way to spend an evening with the family. The reopening would be a big boost to
the economy of Pinellas County and the businesses within close proximity of the track. It would give families an affordable

most of us supposed to go. You say we can’t do it on the streets but we have no tracks to go to...

this track when I was a kid and my brother raced on the dirt bike track as a kid then on the drag strip and oval track as
an adult. My dad got married at this racetrack and I would like to see it remain a family entertainment track. The area needs a facility like this. Oval
racing, drag racing. Bring
it back, I miss my childhood days going racing every Saturday with my dad and Uncle. I’m a drift racer would love to have a track
close by to go to. I think the track should be re-opened. For a few reasons, number one it keeps people
off the streets and out of trouble. Number two- that is where a lot of people grew up and it’s like a home away from
home. Since the track was gone some bad stuff has happened to a lot of people because the track was not around.
I even lost my Uncle. And number three- We all want it back so we have something to do and a lot
of people are not out running the streets. So if y’all can find it in your hearts to open it back up, everyone will
really appreciate it! Please
open the track up- I’ve never had the chance to go to one and would love to experience it. Bring it back!
